CELEBRATIONS
Easter Sunday Celebration
Whether you attended online or in person, Easter Sunday was a wonderful celebration of resurrection and hope. Our Easter service was enriched by Guest Organist Bradley Welch, soloists Myles Garver and Julie Liston-Johnson, and the Brass at Broadway. We give thanks for the 200 people who were able to join us for in-person worship and the hundreds more who were watching via the live stream service. Thanks to all who purchased Easter lilies to decorate our Sanctuary for Easter and to the Newman family for the beautiful arrangements in the Sanctuary and Narthex celebrating the life of beloved Broadway member Bettye Newman.

Partnership Update: Cowtown Clubhouse
Last month, we welcomed Cowtown Clubhouse back to the Broadway campus. Formerly known as Tarrant County Clubhouse (TCC), the Clubhouse is a welcoming community that provides opportunities for members living with mental illness to build relationships with others and develop skills that allow them to lead meaningful and productive lives.

Clubhouse members currently meet at Broadway three times per week, Tuesday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with the goal to expand to five days per week in the summer. The Clubhouse uses the Activities Room and Courtyard area adjacent to the Community Center. Click here to learn more about this wonderful ministry partner.

MORE THAN ONE WAY
Grants Available for Members in Need
Many members of our congregation are feeling the financial effects of the COVID 19 crisis.  Some have been furloughed from their jobs, some have incurred medical expenses, while others have lost their livelihood altogether.  In an attempt to assist with the many needs arising from this crisis, funds from the Congregational Care and the pastoral care budgets are being made available for our members.

Each grant amount will be up to $500, depending on the need of the individual or family.  We are asking that members in need of assistance complete a simple grant application form.  Information from the application will be kept in strict confidence.  Our Pastoral staff will review the applications and make the grant assignments.

If you and/or your family could use some help during these uncertain times, please email Fran Patterson for an application.  Also, if you are looking for ways to help during this crisis, please contact Fran.

Keeping Connected with the Broadway Mobile App
Now more than ever having the church directory at your fingertips is a valuable tool! The Broadway mobile app offers many useful features such as:
  • Update your contact information
  • View worship services
  • Secure giving
  • Secure view of financial contributions
  • Submit a prayer request or contact the church office
  • View and register for events and more!
Church members can receive their login information by contacting Jenn Nelson. To download the app click HERE.

App Tip: “Where did my directory go?” If you’ve opened the Ministry One church app and noticed that the Directory tile is missing, this is due to the login “timing out.” When this occurs, just click on the “Profile” tile and log back in. You’ll see the Directory again.
Note: The directory feature is only available to BBC church members.
