Ryon Price is the Senior Pastor of the historic Broadway Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.  A Lubbock native, Ryon is a graduate of Texas Tech University and Duke Divinity School, Duke University.  Prior to his call to pastor Broadway in 2017, Ryon served churches in Lubbock, Texas, Colchester, Vermont, and Durham, NC.

 Ryon currently serves on the Brite Divinity School, Board of Visitors, the Board of Fort Worth’s Near Southside, Inc., and the advisory board for the North Texas Community Foundation’s Fund to Advance Racial Equity.  In 2021 Ryon was recognized with the Erma C. Johnson Hadley Servant Leadership Award presented by Juneteenth Fort Worth and “the Grandmother of Juneteenth” Dr. Opal Lee. 

 “As a minister of Christ’s Gospel, I am grateful for the gift of being able to help a community of people find themselves in God and join in the redemption of God’s world.  As I conclude each Sunday in benediction, my prayer is that all would discover the Spirit of God in Christ in them; for the world needs our Light, our Hope, and our deep, deep Courage.”
