BROADWAY VISION & MISSION
Broadway seeks to be a beacon of God’s joy and justice, Christ’s hope and reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit’s courage and healing love.

We are working to create a church and world where all people are welcome and belong in the beloved community of God. Through the ministries of worship, education, compassion and advocacy, Broadway provides a place of grace, beauty, sanctuary, inclusivity, and brave faith.

THIS WEEK AT BROADWAY

Stewardship 2024-25

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their pledge card in support of the 2024-25 budget. A pledge is your commitment in support of the mission and ministries of Broadway. Pledges help our Finance Committee create a responsible and faithful budget for the upcoming year.

To date, we have received pledges in the amount of $941,720. This represents 56% of our pledge goal of $1.7 million.

If you have not yet submitted your pledge card, please prayerfully consider your support for next year’s budget. You can mail your completed pledge card to the church, place in the offering plate on Sunday, or complete your pledge card online through the church website’s GIVE page or the church mobile app.

Thank you for your faithful and generous support of Broadway, a place where Everybody Belongs!

LGBTQ+ Hospitality & Advocacy at Broadway
Sunday, October 22 marked the inaugural meeting for the LGBTQ+ Hospitality & Advocacy Group.

This new group was organized to expand Broadway’s work in creating a more welcoming and inclusive church and world for persons in the LGBTQ+ community. The group has developed three strategic focus areas: education, hospitality, and advocacy.

The Advocacy Group chose the Broadway library for its first meeting because libraries are currently under attack across the nation for their pro—LGBTQ+ materials. The Advocacy Group is currently planning a book drive for books for the Broadway Library shelf. Stay tuned for an opportunity to support this effort! Along with the library effort, the Advocacy Group is also organizing to expand Broadway’s participation in PRIDE, World AIDS Day and other events and better advocate on behalf of LGBTQ+ civil rights.

If you are interested in working with or learning more about the LGBTQ+ Hospitality & Advocacy Group please contact one of its leaders Scott Green or Elise Pryor-Harden
