BROADWAY VISION & MISSION
Broadway seeks to be a beacon of God’s joy and justice, Christ’s hope and reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit’s courage and healing love.

We are working to create a church and world where all people are welcome and belong in the beloved community of God. Through the ministries of worship, education, compassion and advocacy, Broadway provides a place of grace, beauty, sanctuary, inclusivity, and brave faith.

BROADWAY CELEBRATES

Women in Ministry Worship Emphasis
This past Sunday, Tiffany McClain, Broadway’s Music & Worship Coordinator planned a special worship service with an emphasis on women in ministry. You can listen to her sermon titled “Imago Dei” here. Tiffany planned the service as her practicum for her Master of Sacred Music degree at Perkins School of Theology. Last Supper Mural in Youth Area
Broadway has a new art addition in the Youth Couch Room (204) gifted by Elbert Godwin. Elbert has been volunteering with youth at Broadway for 30 years and envisioned a way for graduating seniors to participate in painting portions of this special art installation every year marking their time at Broadway. Elbert constructed the mural on wooden panels and sketched and painted the beginning image of the Last Supper. Stop by the Youth Couch room the next time you are at Broadway and view this incredible work of love and inspiration. Thank you Elbert for your investment of time and artistry with our youth!

2023-24 Budget Update
We are in the last month of the 2023-24 fiscal year and are hoping to finish the year in a strong financial position with zero on the church’s line of credit. In order to do that, we need your help.

Our budget goal for March is $138,269. In addition, due to budget contributions shortfalls in July, October, and November, we are currently about $48,000 behind our giving goal for the year.

If you have not completed your pledge contributions for the 2023-24 budget, now is the time to do it! You can make your contribution on the GIVE page on the church’s website, place your contribution in the offering on Sunday, or mail a check to the church office.

Thank you for your generosity and faithfulness. Help us finish the current budget year strong and start the 2024-25 fiscal year on a solid foundation.
