LOL Chapel Choir Performance and Live Auction Raises Funds for Youth Mission Trip and Chapel Choir Tour
Last Sunday, the LOL Chapel Choir Performance and Live Auction was a huge success! The choir performed a fun-filled program of showtunes and lighthearted songs that had the audience laughing and singing along. We are grateful for the support of our church family and the community, which helped to raise funds for the Broadway Youth Mission Trip and Chapel Choir Tour.

The online auction has ended, and winners can pick up their prizes in the Centrum on Sunday, May 7. We congratulate all the winners and thank everyone who participated in the online auction. We also want to remind those who were unable to attend the performance and auction that there is still an opportunity to give. You can donate online here. Your donation will help us provide opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and make a difference in the world.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this event, including the chapel choir members, the auction donors, and the volunteers who helped organize the event. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help us continue the tradition of the Broadway Youth Mission Trip and Chapel Choir Tour for many years to come.

May Street Market Expands Services
We are excited to announce that our May Street Market food pantry is expanding services to include Tuesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. We believe these expanded hours will provide opportunities for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity to utilize our pantry’s services who are not able to come during the daytime hours due to work or family commitments.

Expanded hours for May Street Market began on Tuesday, May 2.

Volunteers Needed: With this expansion of services, we will need additional volunteers on Tuesday evenings. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together in our May Street Market. Volunteer tasks include: checking in guests, assisting them with shopping in our food pantry, stocking shelves, and packing groceries. Training for volunteers is provided from 5:30 – 6:00 prior to the pantry opening. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more about volunteer opportunities, contact Josh Lucas for more information.

Cloud Covered Streets
Broadway will again welcome Cloud Covered Streets to the Community Center on Friday, May 5. This faith-based ministry provides showers, laundry facilities, and haircuts to those in need. We are so thankful to offer these services to our guests and neighbors.

Cloud Covered Streets will be at Broadway’s Community Center on the first, third, and fifth Fridays every month from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help, especially those who are qualified to cut hair. Click here to volunteer.
