BROADWAY VISION & MISSION
Broadway seeks to be a beacon of God’s joy and justice, Christ’s hope and reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit’s courage and healing love.

We are working to create a church and world where all people are welcome and belong in the beloved community of God. Through the ministries of worship, education, compassion and advocacy, Broadway provides a place of grace, beauty, sanctuary, inclusivity, and brave faith.

BROADWAY CELEBRATES

Staff Anniversaries
Thank you Tracey McKee and Jenn Nelson for your valued commitment and service to the ministries and people of Broadway! Join us in celebrating our September staff anniversaries.

Family Camp
Broadway families had a wonderful time at Camp Broadway this past weekend at Family Camp. Special guests, David Grebel and Deb Zihlman, joined the group to teach about the Agape Meal and lead an Agape Meal experience. The families made prayer cards for the Agape Meal tables, invitations for their friends and families to join us at the all church night at the Agape Meal, and listened to Bible stories about how Jesus includes all people around the banquet table. In addition, to this the families enjoyed time with each other dancing, singing, and being in the great outdoors.

Church Telephone System Upgrade
The church telephone system is undergoing a much needed upgrade. We have a very old system and our IT Manager and Spectrum are working diligently to make this improvement. This will include a four hour time frame on Tuesday, September 12 when our phones will be down from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Currently the church’s main phone line is operational and continues to be answered by our wonderful welcome desk volunteers. Please bear with us as we experience technical delays during this transition time. If you are not able to reach a staff member by phone, please reach out via email. Thank you!

COMMUNITY CORNER

Community Center Volunteers Needed
Looking for a place to serve? The Community Center needs more smiling faces to participate in ministry and offer extravagant hospitality to our neighbors. Following are areas of need for volunteers:

  • Assist shoppers in May Street Market
  • Help neighbors in the adult clothing room
  • Sort donations of clothing and shoes
  • Make sandwiches for our sack lunch distribution
  • Greet and register guests for services

Come join us as we seek to make a real difference in Fort Worth! To volunteer or for more information, contact Holly Alexander.

Sack Lunch Ministry Needs Volunteer Sandwich Makers
Broadway’s sack lunch ministry distributes over 1,400 sack lunches each month! We need volunteers to make and drop off prepared sandwiches to support this vital ministry. This is an easy and impactful way to support Community Ministries. Consider hosting a sandwich making party at home or making it a monthly family and friends service project. View instructions here
