BROADWAY VISION & MISSION
Broadway seeks to be a beacon of God’s joy and justice, Christ’s hope and reconciliation, and the Holy Spirit’s courage and healing love.

We are working to create a church and world where all people are welcome and belong in the beloved community of God. Through the ministries of worship, education, compassion and advocacy, Broadway provides a place of grace, beauty, sanctuary, inclusivity, and brave faith.

Community Center Update
Over the last few weeks, the community center has hosted volunteers from the Chapel Choir and Missions on the Move. With their help we deep cleaned the May Street Market, shelved donated groceries, sorted clothing, and got our entire center ready for the summer. Additionally, VBS Missions on the Move assembled over 100 hygiene kits to share with the homeless outreach being done with JPS. Thank you to all the kids and adult volunteers who came to see us and care for our neighbors!

Clothing Room Needs: Our adult clothing room is in urgent need of men’s style clothing. We want to fill our shelves and ensure no guest is turned away. We especially need athletic shoes, t shirts, and shorts.

Our current needs in the May Street Market include:

  • Peanut Butter
  • Cereal
  • Canned Beans
  • Canned Tuna or Chicken
  • Soup
  • Rice

Donations can be dropped off in the blue bin located by the elevators in the Centrum or directly to the Community Center during regular center hours. Contact Erin Cooper with questions.

School Uniform Distribution
Each year the Community Center provides free school uniforms to hundreds of FWISD students. This year the event will take place across two dates: Monday, July 22nd and Monday, August 5th from  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. To participate guests can preregister here. A photo ID & proof of student’s enrollment are required for participation.
